The historic Holly House is an Italianate Victorian located in Sierra City, a sleepy gold mining community in the Northern Mines region of California. Set at the foot of the majestic Sierra Buttes, the elegant vintage mansion features high ceilings, ornate architectural features and large, sunny rooms.

Guests are offered the best of both the old and new worlds as they choose between rooms with claw footed bathtubs or double-sized spas. All the rooms have been lovingly restored and furnished with classic antiques.

Breakfast may be a hearty meal served in the charming country kitchen, or an elegant brunch in the formal parlor. Each evening, complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres are served.

Rates range from $95 to $150 per night, including a full breakfast. The Inn is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and is also available year-round for special events by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted.
